European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC)

European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) is an independent, non-governmental international organization responsible for standardization in the electrotechnical engineering field, founded in 1973 and  1 of the 3 standardization bodies officially recognized by the European Union (the others - European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)).

In December 29, 2015 “License Agreement for  the adoption of CENELEC “Homegrown” standards between the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization and the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent of the Republic of Azerbaijan” was signed.
