State Standardization Fund of Normative Documents

The Fund operates under the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND) based on the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Standardization" and the "Regulation on the Organization, Maintenance, Actualization and Protection of the State Fund for Standardization" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers' Decision No. 492 dated December 14, 2020.

Official information on state standards, initial state standards, technical conditions, international, regional and interstate standards, standards on standardization, rules and recommendations, standards of foreign countries, international (regional) and interstate agreements on standardization, as well as their application rules constitute the State Fund. .
The state fund on standardization is an information resource established in interaction with relevant state bodies (institutions), relevant organizations of international, regional and foreign countries, as well as with local organizations, consisting of a set of documents in the field of standardization and managed by the national standardization body.
The main goal is to provide access to regulatory documents for all interested parties, providing them with regularly updated accurate and detailed information
It is possible to obtain official copies from the fund in electronic and paper form.
Unauthorized use of regulatory documents is prohibited.
- standard - normative document intended for repeated and general use, defining norms, rules and recommendations for the goods (work, service), the process related to it (including the management system) and production methods, the application of which is voluntary;
- international standard – standard accepted by international standardization organizations;
- regional standard - standard adopted by regional standardization organizations;
- state standard - standard accepted by the national standardization body;
- initial state standard - normative document on standardization, which is applied temporarily, and is intended for obtaining the necessary experience during its use;
- interstate standards - adopted by mutual consent of two or more states and corresponding to each other
- technical conditions - normative document, which defines the technical requirements for goods (work, service), related processes (including management systems) and production methods, the application of which is voluntary.
