The Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), operating under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has officially adopted eight new national standards in the fields of fuel and chemistry.
The newly adopted standards include:
AZS CT PK 2473:2025 – All-season oils for mechanical transmission systems of GL-4, GL-5 categories. Specifications
AZS ГОСТ 30333:2025 – Safety passport of chemical products. General requirements
AZS ГОСТ P 51634:2025 – Motor oils for autotractors. General technical requirements
AZS СТ РК 2471:2025 – All-season universal motor oils of SF, SJ, SL, SM, SN, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4, CL-4, CJ-4 categories (API classification). Specifications
AZS ГОСТ 28084:2025 – Low-freezing cooling liquids. General specifications
AZS ГОСТ 33341:2025 – All-season low-freezing compositions and cooling liquids for heat exchange systems. Specifications
AZS СТ РК 2468:2025 – Hydraulic oil AUP. Specifications
AZS СТ РК 2467:2025 – Hydropower transmission oil MGE–46B. Specifications
The primary objective of adopting these standards is to support the local production of lubricants and ensure that products comply with unified safety, technical, and operational norms.
These standards were developed and approved in accordance with national legislation by the Technical Committee for Standardization AZSTAND/TC 34 – "Additives, Lubricating Oils, Greases, and Special Fluids." Upon final approval, the standards were incorporated into the State Fund of Normative Documents on Standardization.
Note: These national standards were developed based on the official translation of corresponding international standards. Their adoption supports the implementation of the “State Program for 2023–2025 on Adapting the National Standardization System to International Requirements,” particularly with regard to cited standards in technical regulations.
