AZSTANDART Halal Certification Body Grants “Halal” Conformity Certificate to "Zahmat Ruzi" LLC

“AZSTANDART Halal” certification body of Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), operating under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control of the Republic of Azerbaijan has granted a “Halal” conformity certificate to Zahmat Ruzi LLC's sausage products ("Tamdad," "Ekonom," "Payım," and "Umid,") .
Entrepreneurs seeking the “Halal” conformity certificate can apply via the official website at https://azstand.gov.az/az/halal-sertifikat-ucun-muraciet by completing the required application form and submitting it to the email address halal@azstand.gov.az. After submission, applicants will be assisted through the certification process.
It is important to note that the conformity assessment process includes not only technical experts but also specialists in Islamic religious matters. The final decision regarding the issuance of the “Halal” certificate is made by the Decision Commission based on the outcome of the assessment.
The evaluation process considers the compliance of products, services, and management systems with the “General Requirements for Halal Food” standard.
Note: The “AZSTANDART Halal” certification body is accredited by the Halal Accreditation Body of the Republic of Turkiye (HAK) and the Azerbaijan Accreditation Center (AzAK). The accreditation process was conducted according to the OIC/SMIIC 2:2019 standard under the guidance of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC).
